From a moviegoer’s perspective, the 2026 horror year offers cadence and diversity. There is brand heft where it matters, fresh vision where it counts, and a calendar that shows studios know when and how to deliver scares. The awards and festival pipeline into 2027 will come into focus once the fall festivals lock, and it would not be surprising to see at least one final-hour specialty addition join the party. For now, the job is simple, roll out exact trailers, keep the secrets, and let the shocks sell the seats.
